Where are you Christmas?

As we grow older it's easy to lose our child like view of Christmas. As children, we easily see the MAGIC of Christmas, we wait in anticipation for Christmas morning- not only for presents but we also anxiously await seeing family we do not see often, spending time around the tree reminiscing over ornaments, and feeling the love around us. One of my families Christmas traditions was to watch One Magic Christmas every Christmas Eve. It is a wonderful story of how an angel must show a mother the true meaning of Christmas. It's not just presents and materialistic things, but the people she cares about. No matter what one has, it is easy to celebrate His birth. To this day I still watch this show during the holidays to remind me that Christmas a celebration of Christ's birth- God's gift of love to us and that the holidays is our time to prepare our hearts to be filled with God's love so we can share this love and joy with each other year round.
