“Ah” Moments for Teachers

Throwing away a sticky-note

Learning that, yes, you can indeed have some of that cake in the fridge

Having a staff meeting cancelled

Receiving a thank-you note from that parent

Arriving at school without spilling any coffee on yourself

Hearing that the principal has asked someone else to do it

Finding your flashdrive right where you left it

Sitting down to eat lunch

Realizing the rain has stopped in time for recess

Discovering that you did save your document before the computer crashed

Spying chocolates on the staff room table

Remembering that it’s a hot lunch day

Hearing a student say, “I did it!”

Having the internet come back up in time for computer class

Seeing a full pot of coffee in the staff room

Detecting a brownie in your lunch that you forgot was there

Having the power go out and knowing that your photocopying is done

Finding out that you don’t have to speak in front of the group after all

Getting back from the field trip

Hearing a student say, “You’re my favorite teacher” when you hadn’t just given them a treat.

Having that "loud" class stay quiet for more then 5 minutes!

Snow day!

That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God.  Eccles. 3:13
